A Breastfeeding Cafe is held in a group setting, offering infant weight checks, before- and after feeding weights and an opportunity to ask questions about breastfeeding from an Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant.

About the event
A Breastfeeding Cafe allows a breastfeeding mother to bring her infant and have questions answered while she is breastfeeding. She can have her baby weighed, and even weigh before and after feeding the baby so she can get an idea how much her baby is getting at breast. It's also great to meet other breastfeeding mothers and discuss how they've made "things work". The cost is nominal, only $3.00 for each breastfeeding couplet. So come on down. The coffee will be on and Jennifer Beck, IBCLC and Paula Hart, RN, IBCLC will be waiting to meet you! NO registration required - walk in.
